• My most direct path to becoming a social worker would be first and foremost needed if my bachelor’s degree. Then passing the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) exam. After that, I will have the opportunity to gain supervised work experience.
• Next, I can gain experience and specialize in the are where my passion is for children and families. I can choose a child welfare agency, schools, non-profits or mental health organizations.
• I also have the ability to continue professional development which can add to my certifications in areas such as family counseling or traumas informed care.
